After graduating from Dallas Theological Seminary, followed by nearly 20 years of pastoral ministry, God called Jeff and his family to serve Him in the Philippines long-term.

Through God’s grace and generous people like you, the Ropps are partnering with like-minded Christians to establish grace-based churches among the Filipino people.

You can make secure donations through your credit card or debit card here:

To establish and multiply new grace-based churches, we must partner with concerned Christians like you.

Your partnership in praying, giving, and going can reach Filipinos with the Gospel and multiply disciples through the following opportunities:

1. Evangelism

In recent years, there has been a tremendous movement of the Holy Spirit in the Philippines, resulting in an unusual harvest of souls and many Filipinos would trust in Jesus for the gift of salvation if they were just given the opportunity.

With the help of God’s grace and our sending mission agency World In Need International (www.wininternational.org), we are preaching the Gospel of grace in various settings through our partnership with the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association (BTEA; www.btea.org).

We are assisting BTEA with evangelistic film showing projects and short-term evangelistic mission projects with Americans as we are able.

You can partner with us by giving two to five weeks to travel overseas to the Philippines with the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association. You will have the opportunity to preach the Gospel in schools, market places, and film showings through preaching, singing, and personal testimonies. You will be trained theologically and through field experience.

To obtain more information about short-term mission trips with BTEA, go to: http://www.btea.org/missiontrips and use their online Contact Us Form.

2. Discipleship – New Testaments $1.70 each and Discipleship Materials $1 each.

For the past several years, BTEA has seen over 1.5 million Filipinos profess faith in Christ each year.

There is an incredible need to follow up these new believers and teach them to live the Christian life.

Many Filipinos in remote areas do not have access to Bibles nor can they afford them.

So, when new adult believers begin their discipleship training, we will give them a free New Testament and discipleship training booklet as we are able.

You cannot grow in your relationship with Christ without God’s Word. The Bible is crucial for your spiritual growth. New Testaments can be provided for $1.70 each.

We will conduct discipleship training seminars as we are able for national pastors who partner with BTEA to win and disciple souls for Christ. We will also disciple new believers, resulting in the starting of new churches. Discipleship materials for each new believer can be provided for $1 each.

To capture these opportunities, we need to partner together.

Make your donation above and we will keep you informed of our prayer requests and progress each month.

Thank You!

Jeff and Pat Ropp

God created us because He wanted a special relationship with us. God loves each one of us the same and we can have a personal relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. But the Bible says...

1. We Have a Problem that Separates us from God.

A. Our Problem is called Sin.

The Bible say, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

Sin is when we disobey God's laws. When we lie, steal, or have bad thoughts toward someone who has hurt us, we sin against God.

B. The Penalty for our Sin is Death in Hell.

The Bible says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23

Because all of us have sinned against God, we deserve to die forever in a terrible place called Hell. Hell is where the fire never stops burning (Revelation 20:15).

2. God Provided the Solution to our Sin Problem.

A. The Solution is JESUS CHRIST.

The Bible says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God...The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth...grace and truth came through Jesus Christ." John 1:1, 14, 17

Jesus Christ is "the Word." He is fully God and fully man. He lived a perfect life on earth to show people what God is like - "full of grace" (undeserved kindness) and "truth" (without sin).

B. Jesus Christ, the God-Man, Died on the Cross for All of our Sins and Rose from the Dead.

The Bible says, "I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you... by which also you are saved...: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen..." I Corinthians 15:1-5

When Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins and rose from the dead, He paid our sin debt in full. There is nothing left for us to do except receive His free gift of everlasting life. No amount of good works can earn eternal life because Jesus already paid for it when He died for our sins and rose from the dead (Isaiah 64:6; John 19:30; Ephesians 2:8-9).

C. Jesus Invites you to Believe or Trust in Him Alone for His Free Gift of Everlasting Life.

Jesus said,

"Whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"Everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life." John 6:40

"He who believes in Me has everlasting life." John 6:47

The word "believe" means to trust or depend upon. Just as a sick young child must trust in His parents through no effort of his own to take him to the doctor so you must trust in Jesus through no effort of your own to take you to Heaven. Do you believe in Jesus? If yes, then you can know you have eternal life.

The Bible says, "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life." I John 5:13

D. When you Believed in Jesus:

He forgave all of your sins. (Acts 10:43; Colossians 2:13-14)

God became your Father. (John 1:12)

You now have a forever home in Heaven. (John 3:16; Revelations 21-22)

He gave you everlasting life and you can never lose this Free Gift. (John 10:28-29)

Jesus came to live inside of you through His Holy Spirit to help you live a life that pleases Him (Romans 8:11; Galatians 2:20). Get to know Him as your best friend by talking to Him through prayer (Philippians 4:6-7) and listening to Him by reading and studying the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

About Us

Jeff Ropp believed in Jesus Christ for His free gift of eternal life in 1979 and Pat in 1973.

Jeff grew up in rural Illinois and Iowa and Pat in Minneapolis, MN.

Jeff and Pat were married in 1984 while Jeff was in school at Dallas Theological Seminary and have been in the pastoral ministry since 1990.

They have 3 daughters.

After Jeff graduated from seminary in 1988, he served as a pastor in four different churches in the Midwest over a period of nearly 20 years with Pat at his side. One of those ministries was a church plant in SE Des Moines.

God led Jeff to go on six short-term mission trips to the Philippines with the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association (BTEA) since January of 2011 where he saw thousands of Filipinos profess faith in Jesus for the free gift of eternal life. His entire family accompanied him on three of those trips during the summers, the most significant of which was a three-month trip in the Summer of 2012. During that trip they learned more about day-to-day living and the incredible opportunities to make disciples.

God sent the Ropps in April 2014 through NewLife Church and World In Need International to establish and multiply grace-based churches in the Philippines long-term.

During this past year (April 2014 to April 2015) partnering with BTEA evangelists, the Ropps have watched over 43,000 people publicly indicate they have trusted in Christ alone for everlasting life and have trained over 1,200 believers to multiply disciples until all hear. However, like any harvest it is certain to be ripe only for a season. The rapid growth of materialism threatens the future responsiveness to the gospel.

Our family believes that if we do not act now while the Spirit is moving, this great harvest of souls could be lost forever. We feel an intense sense of urgency to get the gospel to every individual in the Philippines before this great door of opportunity closes. We also recognize the tremendous need to help follow up all of these new believers through church planting and discipleship training.

Our purpose in serving the Lord with World In Need International is to reach Filipinos and teach them about God's message of grace through:

Preaching the gospel (Mark 16:15; Romans 1:16)

Starting new churches (Acts 13:3ff; Romans 15:20)

Training existing church leaders in discipleship (Matthew 28:18-20)

Assisting with BTEA’s short-term evangelistic mission trips (Luke 10:1-20)

Obviously financial support is necessary to establish new churches. You can help by donating to pay for New Testaments ($1.70 each) or discipleship materials ($1 each)
